IFAT Munich, the world’s largest trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management will finally be opening it’s doors on May 30th, the show will run until June 3rd with 1000’s of exhibitors and an expected 250,000 visitors to attend from around the world. Storm will be exhibiting in full force with experts from it’s head office to demonstrate and advise on all your waste management needs.
With over 80,000 containers manufactured annually, Storm’s products are sold worldwide and the company is the largest seller of 4-wheeled steel-bodied containers to the UK local authority and private sector market.
We offer a full range of 1100, 770, 660 and 500 litre capacity containers, with the 1100 and 660 litre sizes being the most popular.
All containers have their welded steel bodies hot dip galvanized after manufacture to give long life corrosion resistance. Also, to help in this area, all internal body seams are continuously welded to prevent waste acid ingress between the body and side panels of the container.
A wide range of lid options can be supplied for waste collection and recycling. Double skinned rotary moulded plastic is widely specified.
For hot climates, we recommend the light but very tough pressed steel galvanized lid from Storm.
Storm’s “auto lock”, which helps to ensure the lid of a container is always locked, is very popular with emptying crews and users.
We are proud to present our lightweight but heavy-duty steel lid, an optional feature when purchasing our 1280 and 1100 litre containers.
Comparable with our standard plastic lid for weight, our latest innovation has been built with the users’ safety in mind, which is why it features smooth edges to protect them.
The strong galvanized steel will also contain any waste fires by starving them of oxygen, quickly extinguishing the fire before it spreads further.
