The PODs are delivered to site as a complete unit; no on-site erection is required. The all-steel construction is galvanized after manufacture and then powder coated to the client’s requirement. The container entry door is heavily constructed to prevent unauthorised entry, but the large hinge points ensure it is well balanced and can be opened and closed with ease when the internal bin needs emptying. The heavy slam lock helps in ensuring the unit is always closed because it will automatically lock when the operating crew close the door after emptying the internal container. A special key is supplied to open the entry door.
