As the leading event in the local authority waste and recycling calendar, the conference brings together more than 500 participants from 170 authorities for two days of expert presentations, workshops, and networking.
This year’s event is set to be particularly special as LARAC celebrates its 40th anniversary, recognising four decades of supporting local authority recycling officers across the UK. The programme promises engaging discussions on key topics including waste minimisation, deposit return schemes, extended producer responsibility, food waste reduction, and optimising resource management.
The conference will also feature the LARAC Celebration Awards, shining a spotlight on the achievements of local authorities over the past year. With a packed agenda of panel debates, keynote insights, and case studies, it’s a must-attend for anyone working in household waste and recycling collection services!
